Then in March of 1987, she met the love of her life, Otto Hines Sr. They wed and became one in holy matrimony on April 30, 1988. First Lady Hines then served under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Marie Brice at the Pentecostal Church of Deliverance (PCD). She served on the Missionary Board, choir, Usher Board, and as the chairperson of the Nursery Department. It was through serving that God impressed upon her heart that there was greater that he was calling her to in her life. It was at that moment she realized she needed to be prepared biblically to minister to the people of God properly; she enrolled herself into the PCD ministerial classes for the development of her knowledge in the Word of God.

Then in 1995, she willingly heeded the call of God that was on her husband’s life and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. It was in Atlanta that God would reveal through ministry her destiny to minister to hurting woman. First Lady Towanda Hines began to work in many different capacities of the ministry which caused her to become the Chief Intercessor of the church, the chairperson of the Women’s Department and serve as the Outreach Ministry Chairperson. Lady Hines love for children encouraged her to purse and receive her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from the California College in Inglewood, California. She is currently pursing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.

First Lady Towanda Hines has four lovely children; Lee, Chaz, Otto, and Nicole and three grandchildren. Her primary goal in her career is to teach children of all ages and nationalities. Her focus in ministry is to reach souls and ultimately win them to Christ by showing His love.
